About Adaptation Educational Services

      Adaptation Educational Services was founded in the spring of 2003 in Lafayette, CA, by three Lamorinda natives.  The original idea was to develop an educational supplement for a youth population that showed much promise.  However, this idea soon evolved into something much greater – an idea stemming from a deep appreciation for our community.  

Your Success is Our Goal

      Our vested interest in your student’s success begins with the first phase of our program.  Our initial meeting will be conducted between our family-tutor liaison and the student accompanied by his or her guardians – at no charge.  This interaction establishes each party as an equally responsible entity towards the success of our student.  A successful program will develop an open line of communication and shared responsibility among the tutor, student and guardians. 

      Following the free preliminary meeting, we will align our student with the best fit tutor – both in terms of subject expertise and personal attributes.  Our tutors are carefully selected from among the best local academic elite.  Every tutor has previous teaching experience and the ability to connect with students on multiple levels.   

Our Program

      We have developed a one-on-one, in house tutoring system – away from classroom distractions – that provides individualized attention in a secure learning environment.  We collaborate with school faculty and administration to provide the best educational quality possible.  Instead of supplying every student with the same contrived program of study, our one-on-one educational approach is structured around the student’s curriculum.  Our program is designed to adapt to any student and any curriculum.  This ensures that each student receives effective instruction necessary to foster advance in course-specific study as well as develop appropriate study skills for each subject.   

Convenience & Affordability

      There is no need to adhere to strict scheduling, flexibility is our strength.  Whether it’s soccer practice or late hours at the office, our flexible scheduling coupled with the convenience of in-house sessions accommodate even the busiest schedules to save you time and money.  There are no long-term commitments and sessions may be scheduled as necessary.
